It amazes me how bountiful the rezeki is for orphans. A couple of months ago, a few friends of mine and I made a trip to al Nasuha orphanage in Gombak to spend the day with the orphans living there. We brought goodie bags for them, played games and treated them to KFC. That trip gave me an idea to make this a twice a year kind of thing. I immediately decided to open up a new bank account to keep some money aside for me to spend on orphans.
Before deciding to, I found it difficult to find money or even get job opportunities. I mean, aside from the allowance I get from my parents, I wanted some extra money for me to indulge in clothes, CDs and what nots. But as soon as I niat (set my heart to) raise some money to help those less fortunate, job opportunities came flooding in and the pay, came in masses! Alhamdulillah, when it comes to orphans, InsyaAllah, rezeki akan datang.
Earlier today, while I was in Bangsar with a friend, I ran into an old acquaintance and he offered me a job in his production company to help write jingles for any adverts his company is working on. InsyaAllah, my intentions are right and this dream I have will soon be fulfilled. If anyone is interested, feel free to email me :)
